Pride- Gibson Tree Service is owner-operated. Scott Gibson is involved in every aspect of the operation and on-site with every job. Scott’s philosophy is that your yard is his yard. Our crew is polite and loves their work. We can’t just do what you expect us to do, we have to shine.  Our work ethic is strong and backed by an honest approach of conducting business in your neighborhood.  Without question word of mouth has been our key to success. Two of our biggest compliments when exiting your property is that we treated it with care and our clean up was miraculous! The trimming or removal of a tree does not mean a war zone around the tree. Whether it is above your pool, roof, fence, garden or a single pot with a flower in it, we are experts at lowering the tree to the ground without damage.

Training- Gibson Tree is a first responder in areas hit with natural disasters. Our employees must meet such rigorous standards when performing disaster recovery services funded by FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security that we require every climber and rigger on staff to attend least two continuing education courses per year for extended skill training. Memberships in professional organizations like the International Society of Arboriculture help round out our knowledge base but our best training has been EXPERIENCE EXPERIENCE EXPERIENCE!

Experience- Gibson Tree has extensive experience in wind, ice and flood damage. Our disaster roster includes: Hurricane Katrina: Our company spent two years assisting in the load and haul project in New Orleans, the FEMA “Leaner and Hanger” tree project and the “Haz/Mat” program in Gulfport Ms. Other FEMA and federal agency work includes Hurricane Wilma, Jackson MS mother’s day tornado, Hurricane Gustav and Hurricane Ike in Louisiana and Texas, Oklahoma ice storm, Paducah, Ky ice storm and the Inland Hurricane in Carbondale, Illinois.

Tools-  Gibson Tree invests in and maintains the proper tools to handle whatever each job entails. Bucket trucks, loaders, haulers and an arsenal of saws provide our crews with the ability to do your tree work correctly and efficiently.

Insurance and Licensing—We have it!  Ask to see it!  NEVER hire any company that is not able to show you valid insurance to do work at your home. Never.

Accessible/Reliable—Gibson Tree is always here for you. We work weekends, holidays and birthdays! We answer your calls, we schedule an appointment and we show up on time. There are NO extra charges for emergency calls. We give free written estimates. We do not “stack” jobs. Our trucks and crew are covered in logos because we are proud of who we are.
